The Clayton Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary President Nancy Scotton and her members played host to the Kent County Ladies Auxiliary monthly meeting and annual memorial service on Tuesday night May 27. Auxiliary members from all over Kent County and from neighboring counties attended the evenings events. During the night the guests were treated to a very nice dinner prepared by the Clayton Ladies Auxiliary and served by 17 members of the Clayton Fire Company membership. After dinner the Association then held their monthly business meeting which also included their annual memorial service where they honored members of the association that had passed away during the past year. The night concluded with door prize drawings. The Clayton Fire Company Ladies would like to thank the Kent County Ladies Auxiliary and its members for allowing them to host this years event.

The president of the Clayton Fire Company No. 1, Inc. Ladies Auxiliary, Nancy Lee Scotton is to be congratulated for receiving the Kent County Ladies Auxiliary Member of the Year Award on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Felton Banquet Hall. She is a charter member and also has her life membership status. Nancy joined the auxiliary in April, 1959 as a group of ladies were getting together to form the new ladies auxiliary for the Clayton Fire Company. She has been extremely active for 49 years working in harmony with her auxiliary members as well as the firefighters of our fire company. Nancy has held the following positions: President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer. We are very proud that Nancy was recognized and honored this year for her outstanding service and dedication to the Clayton Fire Company No. 1, Inc. Ladies Auxiliary. Congratulations, Nancy!

5. After you type the you can determine by choosing a date on how long the story stays at the top of the home page you can also put a date in for it not to display after a certain date, these features are great for advertising upcoming events.
6. Adding photos is the next set of fields you add images by browsing your computer, you’ll be unable to upload .bmp files, you can also add captions to the files. You can upload as many images as you want. (Tip: Keeping you camera settings low on your camera will speed the uploading of images.)
7. The nextfield is to upload word documents (.doc) or Adobe documents (.pdf) when adding these documents a caption must be present (I.E. "Click for application"), then click "Browse" and browse your computer for the documents, additional documents can be added by repeating steps.
8. Click "Submit Story"
